一、 教材分析
1、 教材簡(jiǎn)析
此課為本單元的第一節(jié)課,主要談?wù)摷傧氲那闆r,它圍繞著以下
兩個(gè)話(huà)題展開(kāi):
①What would you do if you had a million dollars?
②If I were you, I would ……
2、 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
⑴知識(shí)目標(biāo):
① What would you do if you had a million dollars?
I’d give the money to charity.
② If I were you, I’d wear a shirt and tie.
⑵能力目標(biāo):發(fā)展學(xué)生的聽(tīng)及識(shí)記能力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用
能力。
⑶情感、態(tài)度和價(jià)值觀:通過(guò)本節(jié)課,激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)社會(huì)的關(guān)注,
增強(qiáng)奉獻(xiàn)意識(shí),使學(xué)生形成積極的情感態(tài)度,主動(dòng)思維,大膽
表述,提高語(yǔ)言實(shí)際運(yùn)用能力。
3、 重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)
⑴重點(diǎn)句子:
What would you do if you had a million dollars?
I’d give it to medical research.
If I were you, I’d take a small present.
⑵難點(diǎn):2a 部分,聽(tīng)the reasons why Larry is nervous。
原因是語(yǔ)速較快且人稱(chēng)由I到he的轉(zhuǎn)變。

二、 學(xué)情分析
枯燥的話(huà)題很難提期學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。在這節(jié)課,通過(guò)一個(gè)
有趣的話(huà)題--假如你有一百萬(wàn)美元,你會(huì)怎么做來(lái)激起學(xué)生的
興趣,讓學(xué)生主動(dòng)談自己的看法,學(xué)有所得。
三、 教學(xué)方法
本課采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)法,用What would you do if you had a million dollars?這個(gè)問(wèn)句,引出談?wù)摷傧肭闆r的話(huà)題。 采用提問(wèn)、啟發(fā)和歸納的教法,讓學(xué)生易于接受教材內(nèi)容,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。
四、 教學(xué)過(guò)程設(shè)計(jì)
Step Ⅰ. Greet the whole class as usual.
Step Ⅱ. Warming-up
T: Do you have ten Yuan in your pocket?
S1: No, I don’t.
T: (Take out ten Yuan and give it to the student)
OK, never mind. What would you do if it was yours? What would you do if you had ten Yuan?
S1: I would buy snacks.
T: OK, thank you. Sit down, please.
(To the whole class) Just now, it was only ten Yuan. What about 100 Yuan? What would you do if you had 100 Yuan?
S2: I’d buy a beautiful jacket.
T: Thank you.
(To the whole class) Now suppose you had a million dollars, what would you do? We know that one dollar nearly equals eight Yuan, so that’s a large sum of money. Think it over carefully and tell me your ideas. What would you do if you had a million dollars?
S3: I’d buy a big house.
S4: I’d buy a sports car.
S5: I’d put it in the bank.
T: OK, stop here. Please look at the blackboard and guess what would I do if I had a million dollars?
(Teacher puts two pictures onto the blackboard and asks students to guess.)
Answers: ①I(mǎi)’d give the money to the zoo.
I want to help pandas.
②I’d give the money to the medical research.
I want to help the sick people.
Step Ⅲ. Listening ⅰ
1. Section A 1a.
Add more ideas and write them down,
2. Ask two students to write their answers onto the blackboard, and then correct them.
3. Section A 1b.
Listen to the tape and number the pictures 1-3.
4. Correct the answer.
Step Ⅳ. Listening ⅱ
1. Point to the picture on the book and ask students to tell what is happening.
Explain that the boy is getting ready to go to his friend Tom’s party and he’s feeling a little nervous. His sister is helping him pick out what to wear.
2. Section A 2b.
Listen and check four things Larry’s sister says to him.
Explain that Larry is nervous to go to the party so his sister gives some advice to him. What are they?
3. Check the answer.
4. 2a. Circle the reasons why Larry is nervous.
First read the five sentences. Then listen and circle the reasons. Listen to it twice.
5. Correct the answer.
StepⅤ. Pairwork
Student A is Larry and Student B is his sister.
Student A, talk about your worries;
Students B, give advice.
Example:
A: I don’t know what to wear.
B: If I were you, I’d wear a shirt and tie.
C: If I were you, I’d take a small present.
D: If I had enough money, I would send him a sports car.
Step Ⅵ. Summary and Homework
1. Read and copy the grammar focus.
2. Make five sentences according to the VP
3. Pre-read 3a on page 28.
1、這樣會(huì)使學(xué)生很感興趣;
2、 從10元到100元再到100萬(wàn)元,讓學(xué)生的思維有準(zhǔn)備的過(guò)程,并且使學(xué)生積極地思考,主動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí)。
3、學(xué)生考慮的多是個(gè)人,而沒(méi)有為社會(huì)做奉獻(xiàn)的意識(shí),教師應(yīng)積極引導(dǎo)。
4、這個(gè)內(nèi)容也為下一步做聽(tīng)力練習(xí)奠定了語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ),適當(dāng)減輕了聽(tīng)力難度。
5、有了熱身部分的鋪墊,這個(gè)聽(tīng)力顯得很簡(jiǎn)單。
6、進(jìn)一步熟悉鞏固句型:
What would you do if you had a million dollars?
I’d give some to the zoo. I want to help the pandas.
7、通過(guò)讀圖,讓學(xué)生初步了解聽(tīng)力內(nèi)容,增強(qiáng)他們的學(xué)習(xí)信心。
8、這里的四條建議在聽(tīng)力材料中都是原話(huà),故較簡(jiǎn)單,放在前面完成。
9、2a 相對(duì)較難,所以放在后面完成。
10、2a的難點(diǎn)在于人稱(chēng)的改變,沒(méi)有錄音稿的原文,需要學(xué)生理解去完成。
11、在完成2b后,對(duì)聽(tīng)力材料內(nèi)容比較熟悉,讓學(xué)生更容易完成2a的任務(wù)。
12、對(duì)話(huà)練習(xí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力,談?wù)摷傧氲那闆r。
13、進(jìn)一步鞏固課堂知識(shí),并用所學(xué)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行操練,保證課堂效益。
14、積極預(yù)習(xí),為下一節(jié)課做準(zhǔn)備。
五、 板書(shū)設(shè)計(jì)

六、教學(xué)反思
1.用提問(wèn)的方式引導(dǎo)學(xué)生循序漸進(jìn),順利進(jìn)入話(huà)題。
2.將任務(wù)2b調(diào)整到2a之前完成,充分的考慮到了學(xué)生接受的能力,作到了根據(jù)實(shí)際情況用教材而不是死板的教教材。
3.聽(tīng)力練習(xí)與思考的時(shí)間較多,使得口語(yǔ)練習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)相對(duì)較少。
