            入席就坐

            1.應等長者坐定后,方可入坐。

            2.席上如有女士,應等女士坐定后,方可入座。如女士座位在隔鄰,應招呼女士。

            3.用餐后,須等男、女主人離席后,其他賓客方可離席。

            4.坐姿要端正,與餐桌的距離保持得宜。

            5.離席時,應幫助隔座長者或女士拖拉座椅。

            就餐

            1.入座后姿式端正,腳踏在本人座位下,不可任意伸直,手肘不得靠桌緣或將手放在鄰座椅背上。

            2.用餐時須溫文而雅,從容安靜,不能急躁。

            3.在餐桌上不能只顧自己,也要關心別人,尤其要招呼兩側的女賓。

            4.口內有食物,應避免說話。

            5.自用餐具不可伸入公用餐盤夾取菜肴。

            6.必須小口進食,不要大口地塞,食物未咽下,不能再塞入口。

            7.取菜舀湯,應使用公筷公匙。

            8.吃進口的東西,不能吐出來,如系滾燙的食物,可喝水或果汁沖涼。

            9.送食物入口時,兩肘應向內靠,不直向兩旁張開,碰及鄰座。

            10.切忌用手指掏牙,應用牙簽,并以手或手帕遮掩。

            11.避免在餐桌上咳嗽、打噴嚏、嘔氣。萬一不禁,應說聲"對不起"。

            12.在餐廳進餐,不能搶著付賬,推拉爭付,甚為不雅。未征得朋友同意,亦不宜代友付賬。

            餐巾擺放

            餐巾不僅要擺在腿上,還應該注意將其對折,并將折痕靠近自己,中途暫時離席時應該將餐巾放在椅子或用刀叉壓著餐巾一角任其垂下,絕對不要將其掛在椅背上或放回餐桌上。

            刀叉

            西餐的基本使用原則是左手拿叉,右手持刀或湯匙,若有兩把以上,應有最外面的一把依次向內取用。刀叉的拿法是輕握尾端,食指按在刀柄上。讓吃則用握筆的方式拿即可。如果感覺不方便,也可以換右手拿叉。

            用餐

            向自己的盤中取食物時,一定要用雙手。不要只用一只叉子將食物叉到盤中了事,那是極不禮貌的。

            湯很熱也絕不可以用嘴吹氣。舀第一匙的作用就是"探熱",一般不要舀太滿。湯匙要由內向外舀,湯剩下不多時可以將湯盤輕輕向外傾斜。
